ABOUT THIS PIECE

A one-of-one piece inspired by the crest of FC Barcelona, one of Catalonia’s most iconic football clubs.

The base is an original vintage Barcelona home jersey from the 1995–97 era. Its chest crest is constructed from three different footballs that were once used in play, each panel individually sewn by hand.

Vintage Japanese denim is integrated throughout the garment, while kimono fabric is used within the colour composition beneath the crest. Prints inspired by the traditional sacred beasts of Japan and Spain complete the piece.

Bringing together Japan, Catalonia, and football, this garment is conceived as an art piece in wearable form.
